here to stayThe new Brasserie and menu is the brainchild of general manager Mr Kurcer, who wanted to add to the already superior dining experience with an additional restaurant offering the same level of satisfaction as the three AA Rosette Alderley Restaurant, but with none of the formality. Fans of award winning Alderley Restaurant need not panic – this is a superlative dining experience that is here to stay!
The menu is perhaps best described as ‘retro brasserie’. Here you’ll find dishes that graced the menus of brasseries way back when the term first became famous, but here they’re all served with that twist of Alderley Edge Hotel panache to bring them bang up to date.
Old favourites including Prawn Cocktail and Chicken Kiev have been deconstructed and re-built to delight the tastebuds of the twenty first century diner; puddings are clever, prettily presented but satisfy the soul (no collapsing aerosol cream on your Black Forest Gateau here!) I defy you to look at the menu and not find your tastebuds in a complete quandary… what to choose?!
